Nicely done Mary. It reminds me of writing a really good poem but you know it's not quite finished, and yet you don't know how to finish it. And the title "Learning To Stand" sounds as if I had written it, at least I think my family and friends would have some fun poking at me about falling over like I always did years ago. Of course that's why "Every time I fall, I'll just stand myself back up" always meant something more to me.

I think the boy who wrote this feels like he SHOULDN'T trust his heart anymore...
But I think he still does. I think he can't help it.
Tired of being let down but unable to retain the veneer of cynicism that would shield him from the same fate once more...
Am I getting warm?
